With over 100 members from the local 22-40 age group, YPAP is an inclusive network of the most energetic and dedicated young professionals in the South Bend community. Each member is valued for his or her individual talents, and is a tremendous asset to the Center’s mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Favorite thing about South Bend:
It’s filled with nice, down-to-earth Midwesterners, we get all four seasons, and on six or seven Saturdays a year, it is the best place in the world to be a college football fan!
Favorite YPAP memory:
Sitting at Fiddler’s Hearth on Sunday afternoon after On The River teardown, laughing together as we recounted the events of the previous four days—and started planning for OTR ’10!
Favorite YPAP activity or event:
Trivia Night—nothing like beer and pop culture minutiae to bring out the competitive spirit in us all.

It has the hustle and bustle of a big city, but the handshake of a small town. Oh, and the ‘backer.
Favorite YPAP memory:
As a social organization—building lasting friendships and a sense of camaraderie with fellow young professionals as we planned and organized On The River. We would work our tails off, then sit down and have a drink together.
As a volunteer organization—Seeing the sincere joy on the Center guests’ faces for the work we do in order to help them break the cycle of homelessness.

Socially—Most definitely, On The River!
Philanthropically—Serving in the kitchen.
